Off the Strip
October 14-17, 2010

The Bridge Club has been invited to create a new work for the upcoming Off the Strip, a four day performance and new genres festival held in Las Vegas, NV, organized by Contemporary Arts Center.

 

Natural Resources, January 21- February 26, 2011
The Bridge Club will create a new work as a solo exhibit titled Natural Resources for the Lawndale Art Center in Houston, TX in January. The work will incorporate video, installation, & live performance.

 

Shell, March 3-25, 2011
The Bridge Club will create a new work as a solo exhibit titled Shell for 621 Gallery in Tallahassee, FL in March. Shell will incorporate a fabricated installation and performance room within the gallery, layering video, objects and live performance.

Low Lives 2, live online April 30

The Bridge Club is excited to be participating in Low Lives 2, curated by the fabulous Jorge Rojas. Now in its second year, Low Lives 2 is a one-night exhibition of live performance-based works transmitted via the internet and projected in real time at numerous venues throughout the U.S

Visual Artists Network/ National Performance Network

The Bridge Club has been invited to create a work for the National Performance Network’s 2009 Annual Meeting, to be held December 10-14 in Knoxville, TN.

This work, to be created during a NPN Visual Artists Network Exhibition Residency, will be a multi-part hotel room installation, video projection, and live performance. Images and more info will be posted here following the event– or, we’ll see you in Knoxville!

The Observation Room, an installation, performance, and video work by The Bridge Club collaborative will be on view at 1708 Gallery in Richmond, VA from July 17- August 15, 2009.

River City Biennale, May 15- June 20 2008

The Bridge Club will create a multi-part, multi-site installation and performative video work in Wichita, KS for the 2008 River City Biennale, curated by Stacy Switzer of Kansas City’s Grand Arts. Images of the work will be posted here following the May 15 event opening, or look for the work in Wichita between May 15 and June 20.
